Description
The B737 series is the world’s most popular family of medium-range jet-powered aircraft. The B737-500 is a shortened version with the modern technology of the B737-300 and B737-400. Initially presented as B737-1000 in 1987, the name was changed later to the currently valid version name B737-500. In February 1990, Southwest Airlines was the first customer to whom the B737-500 was delivered. The aircraft is approved for a maximum of 140 passengers. Usually it is operated with 100 to 110 seats. About 390 units were produced.
Our 737-500 is a classic 737 with old “steam gauges”,
retrofit CFM56 engines and UNS-1 FMS.
